A Herd of Turtles is a 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, 2 Living Room and Full Kitchen Almost Oceanfront home with a pool and a great ocean view! Enjoy the ocean breeze and view from the upper-level deck and take a quick walk to the oceanfront, just across the street and a few houses away. Relax in the private pool (free heating available during the shoulder season) and tiki bar after a long day of family activities. Enjoy the premium cable channels and family-friendly DVD library or bring your Netflix passwords for the Smart TVs during the evenings or rainy afternoons. It's the perfect retreat during any time of year.


Ground Level: 1 Queen Bed, 2 Flat Screen TVs, and 1 DVD Player. There is a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave and a living area with a queen sleeper sofa.


Upper Level: 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 twin, 1 twin bunk and 4 flat-screen TVs Fully Equipped Kitchen with coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, slow cooker, blender

A Herd of Turtles was the perfect home for our family of 6. It was spacious and the beach access was only a short walk across the street. Our kids loved the pool and it being heated was an added bonus!!! There were lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach/pool toys to choose from so no need to pack any!! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals including a crockpot and a mixer. As always the Bluewater staff was friendly and accommodating. Emerald Isle is our favorite vacation getaway and we can't wait to return next summer!!!

Close to the beach and restaurants , pool was relaxing, home is well taken care of and plenty of utensils for all cooking, cleaning and maintenance needs. Also, maintenance was quick to replace the gas tanks on the grill! Easy check In and check out.

The location of this house was just perfect - a walk to the beach but with a great amount of privacy. The pool was lovely and our kids really enjoyed it. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could imagine. We had a lovely time.
