What a peaceful home. Paradise Point is very spacious inside and out. We spent a lot of time on the outdoor decks, you can watch the sunrise and see the ocean and you can walk around to the other side of the house and watch the sunset and see the sound. A great family set up with all the living quarters on the second floor and all the fun happens on the third floor with 180° view through all the window windows from the kitchen. The living quarters are all very comfortable sleeps 10 very easily and has three full baths for everyone. The bathrooms are beautiful with walk-in showers and a very plush feel. I’ve been there two years in a row and it has been a wonderful experience. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you. During the days you’ll hear no road traffic, only kids and families riding bikes walking to the beach. The beach is an adventure here, to get there you just go left one block up the street to the public access. You’ll roll through the dunes and arrive to the beach. The softest sand you’ll ever feel on your feet is here at Emerald Isle. A walk on the beach does not get better than at the point. As you can walk around to the inlet and see the sound and the ocean and the inlet all at once. There is a small nature preserve at that end of the island that you can walk past and enjoy. The wildlife that I’ve seen in the areaare roadrunners, deers, seagulls, pelicans, turtles, crabs and frogs. The kids love it! they will also love the occasional Blackhawk or Apache or Chinook helicopter that occasionally flies along the beach line. The pool was a great feature to have, at any point you have a desire to jump in and cool off. You can walk right downstairs and do it. I did it a few times every day. There is a charcoal grill set up where you can have a cookout. And just down Coast Guard Rd are some great little restaurants and ice cream shops. I recommend the Superman ice cream. 🍦 Adjacent to that is the waterslide and putt putt golf course. As well as public volleyball courts and the entertainment area of the island all in one place.
