Celebrating These Courageous Survivors During Breast Cancer Awareness 2022

On Friday, October 28th we celebrated in style! We invited all the ladies to brunch at Swansboro Food & Beverage Co. In attendance were survivors, Andrea and Cathy. We had a delicious brunch, great conversation and celebrated having them as a part of our Bluewater family. It was a pleasure to be able to honor each of these ladies with a self-care basket made up of locally-sourced goods!

Self-Care Gift Basket for these strong, brave ladies

With busy schedules being what they are, Julie, Pegi, Linda, and Syndie could not make it to brunch. However, we were able to present them with their self-care baskets filled with carefully selected goodies.

Early Detection

According to the American Cancer Society, when breast cancer is detected early and is in the localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%. Early detection includes monthly breast self-exams and scheduling regular clinical breast exams and mammograms.
