"Summer Salt" your way to an exciting getaway at Summer Salt, a 4 bedroom 3.5 bathroom Almost Ocean Front home in Emerald Isle. Enjoy the Ocean Views inside from the great room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms or relax in one of the many rockers in the screened-in porch or open deck. The beach access, for a sandy stroll, is just two doors down or spend the day by the 14 x 32 Private Pool with cabana. The Pool can be heated for an additional $625, if the temp goes below 55° the heat pump will not work. For additional entertainment, play games on the Play Station 4, watch a movie or even take a nap on the oversized leather furniture in the media room. Fulfill your competitive spirit with a game of pool or enjoy a board game in the recreation room.
Ground Level: Garage with beach cart to haul your belongings to the waterfront. Media room and game room with large Smart TV and large comfy leather couches. Enclosed Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower, Picnic Table, Cabana and Gas Grill. Bedroom #1 has a King Bed. A full bath is also on this level that is shared with the game room and media room.
Level One: There is plenty of seating space in the living room and direct access to a Screened in Covered Deck with furniture and Uncovered deck. An open concept Living area hosts the Dining area, Kitchen and Living Room. The Kitchen/Bar has a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. There is also a conveniently located half bath on this level.
Level Two: Bedroom #2 is an oceanview Bedroom with a Queen Bed shared Bath and TV. Bedroom #3 has a 2 twin beds, a shared bathroom and TV. Master Bedroom #4 has a Queen Bed, Smart TV and a shared Bathroom.
Amenities include: Pool (can be heated for an additional $625, if the temp goes below 55° the heat pump will not work), 8 Smart TVs, Play Station 4, 3 DVD Players, Netflix, Pool Table, High Speed Wireless Internet Access, Central Heat & Air, Washer/Dryer, Screened and Covered Decks, an Enclosed Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower, Gas Grill.

We rented Summer Salt for two weeks overlapping my, and my grandson's, birthday. It was the perfect beach cottage for everyone from 81 years old to 3 months old. The pool was beautiful and the beach only a few steps away. The house had everything we needed to make this a comfortable and memorable beach trip! Bluewater Real Estate came in after the first week to clean and the pool was cleaned twice a week. We felt pampered. I highly recommend this cottage.

Fabulous home for a family get away! The location is perfect (close access to the beach) and the view of the beach is amazing. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. The downstairs of the home was a great place for my young adult children to hang out. The pool table was built in entertainment. The weather was too chilly for swimming, but the pool was beautiful. I am looking forward to our next vacation at this fantastic home!

We love everything about this home!! We do wish it had the keypad code system to get in. Checking in via the Mangrove office was a bit concerning. Cars were everywhere jockeying for a position in line to receive their check in packet. The street was blocked at times to local traffic as cars set in line. There has to be a better way. There just isn't enough space, cars were everwhere. We stayed at Along the Shore for many years, and the last few years we used the keypad entry system and we loved it!! No aggravation to start our vacation!!! We have used the website each year for guidance. Very informative and user friendly.

After growing up without doing family vacations, our mom provided us with an amazing family vacation. Unfortunately, my dad passed away two years ago and was not physically a part of this vacation. He was missed. The house was beyond amazing. The location was great and we could access the beach easily. The pool was a luxury and they even had plenty of pool toys. The house was loaded with plenty to keep us busy even on a rainy day. We really enjoyed sitting out on the front porch. Screened porch was great if it was too hot and deck was pleasant with a great breeze and both provided an ocean view. I even went out a enjoyed the sunrise. We had two toddlers and they had a fantastic time on the porches and pool. Look forward to visiting again.

This home was AWESOME! We loved it! There were 9 of us including 3yr, 5yr, and 6yr olds. They had a blast. Even with all the rain the home was big enough for everyone to enjoy and have fun. Pool was amazing and the beach was just across the street. This house was wonderful for our family and we will do this again!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of room for a large family. Kitchen is more than well stocked so you really don't have to bring anything which is convienant. Even though the house is second row beach access is a short walk across the street. The kids loved the pool even without heat. We lucked out with mostly good weather during our stay.

Amazing home! This home has the most gorgeous pool! The whole family loved the very large pool with a cabana and waterfall. That is where we spent most of our time when we weren't walking the beach. The beach access only 2 lots down the street and the access ramp doesn't have any steps!! This kitchen is very well equipped and appliances as well as furniture are in great shape! Able to see the ocean from the deck and kitchen table! Loved this place! Would definitely rent this again!

Since I began working at Bluewater in 2010, my family has naturally changed their annual vacation from Wilmington, NC to Emerald Isle. Though traditionally vacationing over the 4th of July week, we moved our vacation ahead and began vacationing over Memorial Day to also celebrate my father's birthday. Since then my sister and I have both married and have little ones of our own to start traditions for. Our must are: a comfortable home that feels like home, enough space for each of us to spread out, a pool and a view of the water - either ocean or sound. Summer Salt had it all and more! The pool was PERFECT. I mean it was the focal point of our stay. Instead of gathering in the living room - we were pool side under the gazebo. The ocean side sun deck and screened porch were wonderful. Thanks to the elevated lot - we had great views of the ocean - which was the perfect setting morning coffee and breakfast. The two public beach accesses were just steps from the front door. We packed the beach cart and pulled the kids and all our gear right to the beach. There wasn't a need or want at the house during our vacation. My father unexpectedly and tragically passed away this past October and to be honest I have not looked forward to our annual family vacation since he would be absent. Not being mentally prepared for this year's family vacation - i did not know what to expect since I know they will never be the same. When the search began, we were looking for the perfect house for our family to celebrate my fathers 1st birthday in heaven. The day we arrived and began unpacking, I carried my (almost) 2 year old daughters suitcase to her first 'big girl bedroom' and as soon as I turned the corner, tears streamed down my face. Am empty red beach chair was sitting in the corner. To anyone else it will be a normal beach chair - but for me it was so much more. It was the same red beach chair with a fold out table that my dad used for over 10 years. Coincidence? It might be. But for me - it was my dad there waiting for us to arrive and telling us he was ready to celebrate his 62nd birthday at the beach. Thank you for the start of our children's annual family beach vacation, thank you for the memories and thank you for unknowingly making my dad's presence know. We will forever be eternally grateful.
