Blue Dolphin is an Oceanfront Home on three living levels with a Private Swimming Pool and Hot Tub! Water Softener throughout home and Water purification system in Kitchen! High Speed Wireless Internet Access! (Bring your own computer.)


Level One: Huge game room with pool table, foosball table and shuffleboard. Wet bar with full-size refrigerator, an ice maker that makes 30lbs of ice! A table w/chairs, 2 large leather sofas, and a flat screen tv with netflix. Enclosed garage. Enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower. Stainless steel gas grill.


Level Two: Living room has a gas log fireplace and dining area has seating for 10 people. A large Kitchen with refrigerator with counter with seating for four people, a microwave, ice Maker, wine cooler and 2 Dishwashers. Covered Porch with Rockers. Bedroom #1 has a Queen Bed and a Full-Bath. Bedroom #2 has 2 Twin Beds. There is one Full-Bath in the Hall.


Level Three: Oceanfront Bedroom #3 has a King Bed, a Full-Bath & access to a Covered Deck. Oceanfront Bedroom #4 has a King Bed, a Full-Bath and access to a Covered Deck. Oceanfront Bedroom #5 has a Queen Bed & access to a Covered Deck. Bedroom #6 has a Queen Bed. Bedroom #7 has 2 Twin Beds. There is a Full Bath in the Hall.


Amenities include: a Private Pool (heated for an additional $625 per week), a Hot Tub, 9 TVs, 2 DVD Players, PS 3, a Stereo/CD Player, Game Splitter (compatible with Wii, PS 2, PS 3 & X-box 360), High Speed Wireless Internet Access, a Washer/Dryer, 2 Dishwashers, a Microwave, Wine Cooler, a Gas Log Fireplace, a Game Room, a Pool Table, Shuffleboard and Foosball Table, Open and Covered Decks, an Enclosed Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower, and a Gas Grill. Enjoy the boat launch facility and access to the sound at the new Emerald Isle Boat Launch Facility located less than 2 miles away! This was our second year at Blue Dolphin and we hope to return next year. The house is beautiful, very clean with all of the comforts of home. The kitchen is well stocked and with the ocean, pool and game room, there was plenty to do. The pool was clean upon arrival and they it cleaned again half way through the week. This is a great home! My family made many great memories.

The location of the house was fabulous. You cannot beat the views from the house and pool area, they are amazing! The game room had something for everyone (would maybe recommend a bar seating area in that room, but overall it is great). Would definitely recommend this house!

We loved the large pool. It was clean and well maintained. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was so stocked with everything we needed to cook for my large family. The game room was a definite bonus. That's usually where I found the kids and adult kids when the sun went down. We will be returning next year.

Clearly the best feature of home was the amazing ocean and pool view from the kitchen and living room. Backporch was perfect to keep little toddlers contained yet able to see everyone in pool. Loved having the 5 bedrooms on top floor and two bedrooms off kitchen and living area. Bonus room in lower level was perfect to keep night time noise away from sleeping children and older folks. Loved the tile floors in foyer, all of living area and kitchen. So much cleaner than sandy carpet. Best equipped kitchen we have ever had at beach. Really no problems to speak of, beautiful weather. More to do than we could fit in the week. Best meal we have ever had at Saltwater in Swansboro and the best service ever!!

This is a perfect house to share with another family, with two master suites, other bedrooms are suitable for children or adults.Large area downstairs is great with pool table, pingpong, and a large TV, also an icemaker and full sized fridge.The kitchen is very well appointed, with ample dishes, glasses, flatware,etc, and two dishwashers.Dining table is large enough to seat 12 or more.Outdoors is very comfortable with many chairs, lounges, and tables. Hot tub, pool and a big gas grill.I don't think there was anything we really missed from home, maybe a larger TV in the living area would be nice, but certainly not a deal breaker.This is our fifth year staying at Blue Dolphin, and by far the nicest place we've stayed on Emerald Isle, and we've been going for about 35 years!!!!!I get the feeling the owner is easy for Bluewater to deal with.5 STARS.

We rented the Blue Dolphin recently with 17 Sullivan's, 15 from California, between 22 June-29 June 2013. It was a fantastic week with a superb rental. The property was immaculate, had every amenity imaginable, great air conditioning system and a wonderful kitchen with two dishwashers and two refrigerators. We fed 21 folks at a sit down dinner and had plenty of plates, glasses and silverware. The game room downstairs was enjoyed daily by the kids as there was so much to do with playing pool, ping pong, cards, building Legos and watching TV or videos.

See the other form I filled out for my other impressions...If you had a max of 100 points for the perfect place on the beach the Blue Dolphin would rate 99 points! The two coffee pots need to be replaced as they're too slow but still make excellent coffee...Fabulous house and experience! Game room is so vital for teenagers and younger. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Very clean rental. Pool and kitchen are what made our rating over the top...Between the pool, the ocean and the hot tub everyone had a great water experience. Our only complaint is the seven days went way too fast!!! The Sullivan's and Fitzgerald's
