O. K. Hogan is a North Carolina native and for over 30 years was a visitor to Carteret County and coastal North Carolina before permanently moving to Beaufort in 2000. He received his BS degree from Campbell University, an MBA from UNC-Greensboro, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Hogan’s extensive financial background and professional skills add to the Star Team. He is married to Lugean Jones Hogan and they have 5 children. O.K. and Lugean are active in the community, lifetime supporters of Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, and attend Straits United Methodist Church.
Lugean has lived in Carteret County since 1978 and raised her three children here. She was involved in boat sales for many years with her family company, Jones Brothers Marine. Her goal in boat sales was to provide her customers with the best boat to suit their needs. Now, her goal in Real Estate is to make sure her clients and customers receive the best possible service whether purchasing or selling property! Angie has served on the board of The Outer Banks Chapter of the National Charity League, Inc. where she has also been on various committees and helped numerous philanthropies.
