Dalma W. (Dan) Uzzle, III grew up in Durham, NC. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1977 and Elon University in 1981 with a degree in social sciences. Most of his life was spent working at the family Automobile dealership, Uzzle Cadillac Olds GMC. Most summers were spent at the family beach house in Atlantic Beach. He has always loved Carteret County and all it has to offer and moved to Beaufort in the late 80s. He worked as a yacht broker for Carolina Hatteras and eventually for Outer Banks Outfitters. After moving back to Durham and raising a family and continuing a successful career in the car business in the 90s, he decided to move back to the beach permanently. Being an avid boater and passionate salt water fisherman and lifetime sportsman, there couldn’t be a better place to call home.
