Hurricane Isaias Update #11

We are continuing to monitor Tropical Storm Isaias – Message from Bluewater UPDATE #4 8.3.2020

The latest NOAA update from 8:00AM on Monday, August 3, 2020 shows Tropical Storm Isaias continuing as a tropical storm when it reaches our area, which is projected to impact the Crystal Coast late Monday evening through mid-day Tuesday. At this time our offices will remain open and operating on a normal schedule from 8:30AM TO 5:00PM. 

Bluewater staff will not be prepping properties, but we have asked your guests in to help prep your home. Below is the guest hurricane prep list provided to all guests. 


Bring in small items that may become airborne (Flags, beach toys, beach chairs, etc.)

— Bring in all all lightweight patio chairs

–Try to secure trash cans and grills 

–Shut and latch all windows, doors, sliders, and storm doors

–Close curtains and blinds

–Turn off propane tanks (if applicable)

–Turn off hot tub and place the cover in the outside shower (if applicable)

– Please Note: Bluewater Pools will be coming by to serviced homes with hot tubs to secure the covers. 

–Latch outside shower (if applicable)

–It is likely you will lose power for the duration of the storm. You will not need to call Bluewater, the local power company will be aware of outages. You should refrain from opening the refrigerator and freezer doors while the power is out to keep your items cool. 

It is important to be prepared and stay informed, below is a list of items to have on hand:

-Three day supply of drinking water

-Non-Perishable Foods




-Charged Cell Phone

-Prescription Drugs

-First Aid Kit
