Indian Beach Press Release 03.29.2020
TOWN OF INDIAN BEACH
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
In our continuing effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and in cooperation with federal, state, county, and local officials, the Town of Indian Beach Mayor and Board of Commissioners will expand our local State of Emergency to include mandatory restrictions for the protection of the Town of Indian Beach.
Effective March 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM, Indian Beach will place a mandatory restriction on short term rentals. The restriction prohibits the renting of a hotel room, motel room, rental housing unit, condominium, RV campsite, primitive campsite, or similar accommodation through April 29, 2020.
Indian Beach officials call on all citizens and businesses to voluntarily follow the Stay at Home Order issued by Gov. Roy Cooper. Based on the Stay at Home by the Governor and Carteret County, no re-entry passes will be issued until the order is lifted.
