Bluewater Beach Babies

It’s time for the Bluewater beach babies to take over the Southern Outer Banks! There are so many fun and unique things that the Crystal Coast has to offer to our little tykes!

Check out some of our ideas for you and your kiddos to enjoy on your vacation with Bluewater!

Ziploc Bags for wet clothes, change of clothes, and your phone

Frozen Water Bottles use as ice packs and drink once they melt

Baby Powder easily removes sand and tiny shells from hands and feet

Beach Hat with UV Protection & String to protect their eyes and head

Sunscreen is so much easier to apply if done before hitting the beach

Mesh Laundry Bag is the easiest way to clean the sand from their toys

Collapsible Wagon … because your back will thank you later – great way to transport all of your beach necessities

Pop-up Tent to give them plenty of shady space for play and naptime

Snacks are a must, especially individual packs and pouches because of sand (or even grab a ice cold tasty treat!)

Blowup Pool allowing them to play in the saltwater without the worry of waves

Trash Bags to make sure you leave the beach as clean and pretty as you found it

Baby Carrier to wear your kiddo and give your arms a break

There’s more than just heading to the beach to have lots of fun with your tot!

Go out and enjoy the Town Park at 915 W Fort Macon Road. This park has a large play-set, swing-set, and merry-go-round. Perfect for your little tyke to giggle and play! Need to stop and enjoy a picnic? The Town Park also offers a shady and well-lit picnic site to enjoy lunch, supper, or snacks right beside the playground!

Don’t forget to wear your bathing suit! The Splash pad is a colorfully painted open area that shoots water from the ground into the beautiful, Carolina blue sky and is lots of fun for your kiddos! Parents surround the play area and you can even catch some swinging their tot through the water and chasing after their little ones.

The fun’s not over yet! There is an 18-hole miniature golf course that is fun for the whole family! Grab a putter, pick a pretty colored golf ball, show off your putt-putt skills and help out your tot! Admission is only $3 per person, with kiddos under 5 years old playing for free.

A truly amazing place for your kids, big and little, to enjoy!

The aquarium is the perfect place to take your tot and your entire family on your Bluewater vacation and a great go-to place for a rainy day. There are so many different exhibits that are sure to make your kiddo smile all the way home! Watch river otters play, touch a stingray or look a shark right in the eye! Watch the vibrantly colored fish dart through the water as your child places their little hand against the tank glass.

Want to enjoy an exciting and stimulating experience? Visit the touch tank – where your tot can use their curious, tiny fingers to feel starfish or a stingray’s slippery fins.

Explore the Little Minnows Play Area designed especially for the aquarium’s smallest visitors. Let your little guppy free play and use their imagination. They can play dress-up, ride and climb on cushioned toys, and relax with a book in a reading nook.

The NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is a fun and fascinating for all ages! Definitely a must-do on your Bluewater Vacation!
