This home is also Pet Friendly, so your furry family member can enjoy the vacation too. When you enter the driveway, you will notice the large private yard filled with native organic foliage. The home's location has views of the sunrises from the oversized deck. Renters can relax in the 6-person hot tub (available from April to Oct 31st). The private hot/cold outdoor shower is next to the hot tub. The North Carolina Aquarium is just minutes away and within walking distance. The home is also just minutes from the grocery store, movie theater, shops, restaurants, and Atlantic Beach Town Park.


The upper level boasts a tremendously sizeable open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has countertop island seating. The homeowner appreciates spending time with family and friends, so he made a large dining table to accommodate large gatherings. You will also find the main bedroom with a king-size bed, ocean views, deck access, and a private bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed and a private bath. There is a common area full bath on this level. At this level, you have ocean views everywhere. The deck has a large table for 6 and tall chairs for dolphins and bird-watching.


The lower level offers a cozy living room, 1 bedroom with a king-size bed, 2nd bedroom offers 2 sets of twin bunks and a full shared bath.

We love Bluewater and we loved our stay at Pelicans Roost! We loved the privacy of the location and the wonderful expansive deck practically right on the beach. Even though we were right next to the public beach access it did not seem like it at all. There was even a turtle nest that hatched while we were there. Plenty of space throughout the house for all of us and the outside showers were awesome! We will be back at Pelicans Roost again!

Absolutely LOVED Pelicans Roost! The house was extremely clean, especially for being pet friendly, and I can be pretty picky!The views from the deck as well as the house itself were beautiful. We enjoyed being able to access the deck from the bedroom. The decor was awesome and the beds and bedding were very comfortable and clean. Very enjoyable outside shower. Even loved the driveway/landscaping around the house. We greatly appreciate this lovely house welcoming our dogs and can't wait until we can return next year. Thanks for the wonderful vacation!
