Meet our photographer

Our photographer Liz Perry has been a treasured part of the Bluewater family since 2004. Liz takes pride in photographing each of our vacation rental homes - carefully showcasing the amenities, location and views of each one.

Liz grew up in Durham, North Carolina and studied photography at Randolph Technical Institute in Asheboro, North Carolina. Her family has vacationed on the beaches of the Crystal Coast since the 1970’s, when the island was reached by ferry. Liz, her husband and their two children moved to the Crystal Coast 15 years ago to be closer to her husband’s family. With the inspiration of the sunsets, wildlife and beautiful sand, photography soon became a hobby close to her heart. She now lives just over the bridge in Cape Carteret with her family and her dog, Chuck.

After joining the Bluewater family in 2004, Liz took on the monumental task of photographing each vacation rental that we manage – now over 800 homes! She visits the homes frequently – photographing new additions to our rental program and updating photos after renovations. Liz’s winning spirit and personality are appreciated every day by us lucky folks who work with her. No one leaves Liz without a smile on their face and a stitch in their side!

In her spare time, she also captures the beauty of the Crystal Coast at it’s finest – breathtaking sunsets, wild pelicans and egrets and more! Her work has been featured in our annual vacation rental brochure and in various publications throughout the county.
