I discovered Emerald isle while vacationing here in 1991 with my husband and our two youngest children. We loved it and bought a vacation home the first time we were here. Two years later we decided to make it our permanent home. Both Ken and I grew up near the ocean and were excited to be back. I was a licensed Realtor in Maryland since 1976 and decided that it would be a lot more fun selling houses at the beach. It was a good move for the whole family. My husband and youngest son operate our family restaurants "Kathryn's Bistro and Martini Bar" and "Portofinos Ristorante", both located in Emerald Isle. My only daughter Kelly is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and a third year law student at Elon Law in Greensboro. My other four sons and their families come to visit as often as they can..
This is my 15th year selling in Emerald Isle and I love it! I meet people from all over and help them buy and sell their vacation homes, investment properties and full time residences.
